Facts about the history and the business of escape rooms come from published reporting and reference works, and we link to them under each guide. Safety advice follows what venues and local authorities publish. Where a detail differs from venue to venue, such as group size, age limits or how hints work, we say so and suggest checking with the venue.
No spoilers
We explain puzzle types and ways of thinking, never the solutions to a particular commercial room. Example puzzles on the site are our own.
Independence
No venue or company pays to appear on the site and we do not use affiliate links. Photographs come from free stock libraries and are credited to their photographers.
Corrections
